Planning a menu is an important part of most parties, and that includes a baby shower party. You want your guests and mom-to-be to enjoy the food.

When you are creating a menu for a baby shower, take into account the time of the day when the shower is being held. If baby shower is being held during lunch or dinner time, then you would probably want to serve full meal. If it is held in between then you can serve finger foods, dessert and beverages.

Take in to account the mood or theme of the shower when selecting the foods – BBQ would be great for a casual, co ed party but not such a great choice for a more formal affair. Don’t forget to order the cake!
